"HU is the Sound behind all sounds, woven into the language of life."
- Harold Klemp, The Sound of Soul, p. 1 Weekly Painting Hour is an invitation to paint in the company of fellow artists on Zoom. If a busy life keeps you from your painting practice, come any (or every) Thursday for an hour of sacred studio time. You'll work on your own painting while the sound of HU helps you tap into your creative source. It's free and open to any interested artist.

Artists say “Just that fact that it’s a dedicated hour weekly to be painting with you and everyone that comes, I look forward to it. If I haven’t painted this week, I’m like, “Well, I know I’m going to paint at least for an hour on Thursday!” “I love the HU aspect of it, as well. It’s kind of magical that it grounds me into painting and focusing, but at the same time it’s uplifting and connecting - it brings it all in.” “For me, it gives me a solid hour where I know if I'm working on a difficult part of my painting, the HU just seems to open up my creativity channels a bit more. I save a problem painting for this time.” “Yes, it’s lovely to set your intention and say that out loud to who’s here, and then at the end to say how you came along. I think it’s just perfect that there’s no talking through the hour; we’re just on our own and can zero right in. But the little bit of sharing at the beginning and the end, I love it. “So I think this is a beautiful, generous offering. It’s amazing that it’s free. Thank you.”
